AMK Bank would like to inform all CSS card customers starts from the first 6-digits (637079) are invited to replace a new card. This is to ensure our services remain efficient, secure, and compatible for smooth transactions with other banks.

To facilitate the card replacement, please bring the following documents:

Your current CSS Card
KYC Document (in case your card is lost)

Note: This card replacement is provided free of charge from the date of this announcement until the end of June 2026. Customers are invited to replace their cards at any of the 143 branches nationwide.

Do I have to pay any fee charge to replace card ?

If you are an existing customer who has previously had a card, the card replacement will not be charged a fee.

If I don’t replace the card, what impacts will there be ?

If you do not replace your old card, it will no longer be usable starting from July 1, 2026. However, even if your old card cannot be used, you can still withdraw money through AMK ATMs and agents using the mobile banking application.

Will my account number remain the same, or will it change along with the card number?

Your account number will remain the same.

Until when can my old card still be used?

Your old card can be used until 30 Jun 2026.

Can I replace my old card via Mobile App or have to come to branch in person ?

You cannot replace your old card via Mobile App and you are required to come to branch in person.

What about the payments that I have linked with other apps?

Payments, transfers, or other services on the app will continue to work as normal.

Why does the bank/institution need to change the card number?

This is because our bank/institution must comply with the authority’s guidelines regarding the implementation of standardized card usage within the country

What benefits will customers gain from this change?

The new card offers better security for usage and helps prevent fraud, as well as reducing transaction risks associated with card usage in Cambodia. It can also be used for transactions at all ATMs of other banks or institutions that are members of CSS

Where does the customer need to go to replace the card, and what do they need to bring?

The card replacement can be done at all AMK branches during working hours, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The required documents are the old card or a valid identification document.

How long does it take to get a new card after the replacement?

The card replacement is instant—you will receive the new card immediately.

If I don’t come to replace to the new card, can the old card still be used?

If you do not replace your old card, it will no longer be usable starting from July 1, 2026.

If you do not replace your card, which types of transactions will be affected?

If you do not replace your card, your old card will not be able to perform transactions. However, even if your old card cannot be used, you can still withdraw money through AMK ATMs and agents using the mobile banking application.

If I don’t come to replace the old card, can I still withdraw money from an ATM?

You cannot perform transactions with the old card. However, you can still withdraw money by scanning QR through the mobile banking application.

Where can I withdraw money if I don’t have a card?

You can withdraw money by scanning a QR code through the AMK mobile banking app at AMK agents and ATMs.

Will my money or account balance be lost?

Your money or account balance will not be lost.

Do customers need to replace the card within the deadline set by AMK, or can they replace it later?

Customers are required to replace the card within the deadline set by AMK.

How are transactions made with the new card more secure for the customer?

The new card offers higher security, protecting against data theft and fraud. It also supports modern payment technology such as contactless (Tap to Pay), allowing you to make transactions without inserting or swiping the card—simply tap it on the POS machine.

Will replacing the card affect online payments or app payments?

This card replacement will not affect online payments or app payments.
