Phnom Penh, October 31, 2025 – AMK Microfinance Institution participated in the celebration of “ASEAN Savings Day” under the theme “Save Smartly, Save with Love.” The event was held in Kampot Province under the high presidency of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC).

The celebration of “ASEAN Savings Day” on October 31, 2025, aims to raise public awareness about the importance of saving money to ensure a strong financial future and to prepare for emergencies. This event is part of a collective effort to strengthen financial inclusion, which is a top priority in Cambodia’s national strategy.

To contribute to promoting the habit of saving, AMK set up a booth at the event to share financial literacy, such as effective saving methods. Additionally, AMK introduced the convenience of opening and using high-interest, highly secure savings accounts through the AMK Mobile app.
